In 1935.
The Turkish mujahid asked me after the salah,
Why
your imams conduct such lengthy sujoods?
That simple-minded mujahid, that sovereign momin,
He was
not informed what the salah of a slave
is,
Thousands of engagements await a sovereign man,
Because of their fervour systems of
nations exist,
The person of slave is devoid of burning
to perform,
The time which passes by day and night is stationary for slave,
If they conduct lengthy sujoods, why it is surprising!
Other
than sujoods the poor have no other
task,
May
Allah the beneficent bless the Indian imams
with, *
That
sajdah which radiates message of ummah’s
excellence.
